The show ‘Les Métamorphoses’ (‘the metamorphoses’) is more than a mere concert. With pinch of theatre and tales, it takes the audience to a unique and fabulous journey. In the mysterious world of Keltia, figures from the Middle Ages meet fantastic characters and depart for mystical quests. Music is like a soundtrack that keeps changing with the story that is told. Switching from folk to rock, electro or classical music, it can be either tribal, strange or intriguing. Unusual instruments like celtic harp, hurdy-gurdy, davul (a kind of medieval drum), slideridoo… will undoubtedly stir the curiosity of the audience.
Refering to a fascination shared by every human being, ‘the metamorphosis’ can touch everybody, no matter the age nor the background.

The band
Keltia is born in 2002 on a free-stage of the Belgian festival ‘Les Anthinoises’. At first, Keltia was the project of a young solo harpist. It became a genuine band in 2004. Original songs with french lyrics, inspired by celtic and greek mythology, usually accompanied with the harp are the ‘trademark’ of the band.
Each musician who joined the band brought a unique touch to the project, slowly defining the true essence of its music. After trying different line-ups, the Court counts today 5 pillars : Her Majesty Keltia (voice, celtic- and electroharp, hurdy-gurdy), who created the project, Laime Ithil (guitars, bouzouki, mandolin, kalimba, choir, sound design and atmospheres), Jack Saturday (slideridoo, darbuka, bendir, bodhrán, koncovka, shofar, choir), Sir Arnald Mac Ougar (viola, choir), MaestrO (Computer Assisted Music, sound atmospheres, davul).
